WHAT IS MAGIC THE GATHERING?
Magic the Gathering is a fun, challenging and incredibly popular card game Find Out More About Magic
If you like strategic games such as Chess, Bridge & Risk – you will love this.
It appeals to all ages. Individuals, families and groups of friends play.
Whereas Chess or Bridge are based on a limited number of cards or pieces, Magic the Gathering features a very large number of unique cards (over 10,000 currently).
Here at Henchmans we are aiming to make this the best place to come in the East of England for under 16 years olds.
HOW TO GET STARTED
It is very simple. Just come and visit us at our shop in Swaffham. We will give you a pack of cards, together with an easy to read playing guide, with which you will immediately be able to start playing. Do not worry, we will spend a few minutes helping you go through the basic rules of the game.
After this initial discovery you may wish to acquire a more sophisticated deck of cards with which you will be plotting strategic ways to overcome your opponents and become a true wizard of the game. We have a vast range of ready made decks available for you to choose from, starting from as low as £13.95.
WHAT'S ON FOR 8-11 YEARS?
8-11year olds meet every Wednesday from 5pm to 6.30pm at Henchmans to play
All abilities welcome, this is ideal for beginners.
This is a friendly, relaxed session, with the aim of encouraging young players to enjoy this challenging game.
Parents: Please stay with your child: you remain responsible throughout.

Henchmans is open to the public - adults, students and children over 8 years old are welcome. Children and their families can play together.
This is not a supervised activity. We cannot take responsibility for the welfare of individual children. Children remain the responsibility of their parents throughout. Adults are welcome to stay and play or relax.
